Need Ideas for my book.

Ok, well I’m sure all those great up and coming authors can help me with this.  Im at a point in this Romance book where Im finding myself at a roadblock.  Im thinking that the couple who are stranded in the desert after a devastating plane crash are now waking up from spending the night in a makeshift tent made from a cane and blankets from the ill fated airliner who killed all aboard but them.  In case you havent read they escaped from New York and a plague that killed everyone in NYC.  They dont know it yet but the whole east coast has been wiped out and there are no survivors.  So, after waking up they are now searching the wrecked plane for food and water.  They are in the Mojave Desert and have no transportation and all 100 and so odd people who escaped NYC on the airliner have all perished.  Now Im wondering what I should write, how this should unfold.  Do they find food and continue on treking towards the West Coast in the hopes of finding civilization and living people.  Or do they continue on and run into all kinds of different stuff…animals…badgers, hyenas..etc and fight to maintain their survival.  Kinda like Survivor…Ong…didnt want to go there.  But thats what I need help with.  How does this couple end up….alive..to find everyone is dead?  Or maybe they stay in the desert, surviving on all kinds of weird stuff and maybe run into survivors who are scrounging themselves and it turns into a cat and mouse game of the strong survive.  I also want to make sure they fall in love….they are early 20s and have alot in common but the one thing they need is each other for their survival…Im at a roadblock…so I need help…  right now I am only at day two of their adventure.  the day after the crash… I also am open to a title for the book.  I have a few ideas but figured maybe this would help by posting this……..Dave
